Halloween Party!!!

We went up for UEA to my moms house and had lots of cousins and lots of craziness!!! We did a halloween party that was so much fun!! We decorated cookies, did stickers, went trick or treating (in the house), the kids got to be wrapped up like mummies, made magnets, made ghosts; It was fun!! We also went to the Homestead for the "scarecrow festival". It wasn't much of a festival but they did have pumpkins to paint and a pumpkin toss. The kids had a blast!!

OOPS!

I had some really cute pictures that I was going to post about 3 weeks ago and whoops I let my kids play with my camera and they deleted them all. I had pictures of scout cubanopolis, Braden getting his Bobcat, football games, Josh and Cody being adorable. Some pictures I was able to "steal" from friends but some are lost forever. I hate pictures being lost. I feel like those are memories that I can never get back. But whatever.....Here is Josh with a cute craft he made in preschool!!


Cody is OBSESSED with Pirates of the Caribbean. He is Jack Sparrow. And wears his hat all the time...including while he is sleeping. A good friend brought a thing of gold and he walks around holding that too. It is so cute!!

Jay had the kids all on his dads 4wheeler!! They had a blast in our backyard!!!

This is the cubanopolis. Braden and his best friend Jax are rivals...Jax is a diehard BYU fan and Braden loves UTAH!!! So the cars were decorated that way. It was way cute and way fun. I think Alisa-Jax's mom- and I had as much fun as the boys!!!

Football, preschool, and chickens?

Braden is playing flag football this year. It is so fun to watch him. He is aggressive, chasing people down, he has thrown the ball well and the coach said he is the best defender on the team!!! I am proud of him. He is doing awesome!!

The other day I looked outside and our neighbors chickens were running around in our backyard!!! Cody was so excited. He ran outside and started to chase them. I don't know if you can see the chickens in the corner there but he has them trapped!! At one point the chickens felt cornered and ran at Cody..that changed the dynamics. He didn't chase anymore. He ran away.

Josh started preschool!!! He is so excited. He went to the same preschool last year and man he loved it! So this is his first day of school!!

Cody turned 3!!

Cody loves to ride his brothers scooters so for his birthday he got his own!! He loves it. He does pretty good too. It has the front two wheels so it is easier to balance and handle!

Cody loves to dress up. His favorite things are dressing up as a cowboy or a pirate. He got his own cowboy hat and walked around saying cowboy cody hat!! He is so much fun!!

This is my beautiful baby boy. I can't believe it has been 3 years since you came into my life. He is such a fun kid. He loves to play, loves to read. He loves sports, balls, being outside, he loves following his brothers around. :) he loves to play swords, guns, he loves to shoot with daddy, he loves Star Wars, and airplanes. He says Hug when he wants to be held, he says wub you. (i love you), he eats pretty much nothing but hot dogs, chicken fingers, and peanut butter sandwiches. Cody you are so amazing and I am glad that you are in our family!!

First Day of School!!!

Fun Stuff!!

Braden is really into model airplanes...especially the ones from world war 1 and 2. Well Jay found out about a model airplane show and airport that is down in Price. He took the boys one day while I was at work. All I heard about was how awesome it was. One of the owners of the planes let B fly it. He was so excited!!!

We went camping a few weeks back at Pete's hole. I wasn't really good at taking pictures...sorry but it was a lot of fun. The picture above is us fishing at Academy Mills. We hiked in about a mile..cody walked the whole way there and about 1/2 the way back. He is a trooper. We had so much fun. Shooting the 22, and pellet gun. Shooting B's bow and arrow, fishing, jumping the creek, just hanging out with the family. I sure love my boys and love being in the wilderness with them seeing God's creations and just in amazement at how wonderful our life is.

Jay's grandpa Hilmer Peterson was a sheep herder and carved his name in lots of trees. We found this one while hiking up to Academy Mills. Pretty awesome if you ask me!!! This one was done in 1997..he would have been in his 80's He was a tough man since he would have had to hike into this area to carve his name on this tree!!
